Confessions of an Internet Don Juan narrates the story of Cast Hughes, a handsome, well-to-do, middle-aged failure. A former bit player on the bicycling pro circuit, nothing in Cast's life has gone as planned. As compared with many men, the tricky venture that has proved a success for Cast is his seduction of women and the modus operandi involves the Internet. He meets exotic beauties from around the globe and though Cast wants to settle down, he is thrust deeper into a world of treachery and deception by his innumerable affairs. The novel will shock and outrage as it relates an inelegant excursion into the private life of a reprobate who adores women and will go to any length to pursue them. Pathos and humor underscore Cast's provocative confession, which concerns Internet dating, sex, and relationships and details a hilarious adventure that paradoxically celebrates life and love.

The Stone Cabin

Conrad Miller, a literature professor at St. Almas College in South Florida , is emotionally estranged from his wife of three years and alienated from his own past. He is an orphan with no safety net or friends and few social skills, who is about to find himself fired from his tenured position. So what does Conrad do? He has an affair with a young, busty coed. In so doing, his life unravels.

The Stone Cabin is not a morality play. It is a dark and searing comedy about an emotionally disturbed man with Tourettes Syndrome and the various psychological pitfalls he faces in relating to his students, the faculty, and his neglected wife. Readers will question whether or not Conrad is just a bumbling, officious oaf who is completely self-involved. Or is he a hurt, lonely man acting out childhood dramas in order to receive attention?

Conrad sighs with relief when his beautiful wife, Leela, the talented dancer and East Indian goddess, finally throws in the towel and walks out on him. The final scenes of the novel describe the character of a man nearly beaten and on the ropes. The dénouement shows his desperation and lack of judgment. Just as with an expert left-right combo, readers will never expect the final knock out punch.

A strange, little Japanese man tells Canon Carter, a boy living with his regimented military father in pre-industrialized Japan , a secret that forever changes the boy's life. Thus begins Canon's mystical voyages toward spiritual enlightenment, voyages where he combats the forces of darkness. Sadly along the way, he makes a major miscue and enters into his own pact with the Devil. Canon's wife, Mahsa, an Iranian singer, dancer and faithful companion, falls victim to the harrowing struggle in the shadows of Canon's life and he ultimately must continue his wearisome fight to save her.

For the Love of a Madman is the portrayal of a skeptical mystic and reluctant hero, whose love for the woman he creates from the bold strokes of his imagination, nearly destroys them both. The novel depicts the extraordinary romance of a creator and his unflagging love for his doomed creation.
